Halloween 2009

Some Halloween's are better than others, and this one was definitely not our best. Usually Mark and I are eager to join in the fun and dress up in full attire. However, this year we were both sick, so just getting the Trick or Treating done was a chore. Definitely put a damper on the event! However, we were able to join in with the Wing's and the Bailey's, and it made it a better evening:-) On the left are Will and Agnieszka Badger, some more wonderful friends that live down the street. I don't know why we didn't get a picture of their adorable daughter, Daria, but she is one of Eve's good friends. They are good little buddies!

Eve's Fall Festival

Four kindergarten classes combined to have a Fall Festival. Letter Bingo, Pumkin Rolling, graphing objects, and a donut eating contest were the order of the day. Eve's favorite was the donut eating contest. She competed against Gray Lindley, who she tells me she is going to marry some day:-)

Eve's first "Informance"

The music teacher at the elementary school is fabulous, and a couple of times a year she has "informances" for the kids to show what they have learned. They are not as formal as a performance, so she calls them "informances." This was Eve's first "informance." They are performing a folk dance. You can't get any cuter than kindergartners!

The Cup Museum

It all began one day...

with an idea that Jane, Bekah, and Porter had...

to build something with cups. In no time at all, it turned into The Cup Museum, complete with rules, displays, and descriptions for each set up. Very fun! The kids had a blast making their museum and showing it off to our friends and neighbors.
