Hullinger's Red Dinner

As stated in an earlier post, our family's "Red Dinner" has grown to be quite a tradition. So it was quite a surprise to me when I was at Ellen and Dan's this year on Valentine's Day to find that they did a Red Dinner too! Very fun!

The Snow I Missed!

It snowed in NC while I was in Idaho! I missed all the action! Thankfully they took these pictures for me to see their awesome snowman!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Lyndsay really wanted chocolate covered strawberries for her wedding reception. Not fully understanding how crazy it would get the night before her wedding, she intended to do them all-- herself! Well, things didn't as planned the day before the wedding, and Kelly showed up at Ellen's house Friday night with just a few strawberries, as seen above:-) None of us had any experience dipping strawberries. But when all the Seibert girls get together to accomplish something, we can get it done! So, while watching "Steel Magnolias," we dipped strawberries. In no time at all, we got them all done. They turned out beautifully!

One of my nieces, Lyndsay, was getting married, and after hearing that both my sisters and my Mom were going to be together again without me, I grovelled with my brother to offer me a pass to get out there and enjoy the fun:-) Paul, being the amazing brother he is, gave me a Buddy Pass, and all of a sudden I was going to Idaho! Paul and Lynnette brought their family up, and when Kevin and Sally heard about us all getting together, they booked tickets and joined in. It was a spontaneous Seibert reunion!
The first night there was a dinner that doubled to honor Lyndsay (the bride), as well as Kelly's birthday. So we had a major Girls Night Out with all my sisters and sisters-in-law, Mom, and a few nieces. That hasn't happened in way too many years. Some of my nieces I had not seen since my wedding! It was a super fun night!
