Marshmallow Fruit Dip


Marshmallow Dip for Fruit                                          From: Mom Seibert
This dip is always a favorite with a large fruit platter at family gatherings
1 c. sugar                                                                ½ c. Karo syrup
½ c. hot water
Heat above ingredients to 225 degrees.

2 egg whites                                                            dash of salt
1 T. margarine                                                         2 T. cold water
½ tsp. orange rind                                                   ¼ tsp. vanilla
Beat above ingredients with salt; slowly add ½ the syrup.  Beat 5 mins.
then add the rest of the syrup.
